The Northeast Colorado BOCES is seeking a Gifted and Talented Regional Coordinator.

Under the direction of the Executive Director of the NE BOCES or his/her designee, the NE BOCES Gifted and Talented Regional Coordinator will work cooperatively with local member school district staff, parents and the community in order to establish the needs of the gifted students that are not addressed by other sources. Qualifications include possession of current Colorado Teaching License and possession of a Gifted and Talented Education Endorsement or currently working towards an endorsement. This position is based on an 80 day contract. Must be willing to travel. Salary based on education and experience. The Northeast Colorado BOCES has an opening for a School Psychologist.

This position is for the 2018-19 school year and is based upon a 185 day contract. The position is located in the rural area of northeast Colorado. The position involves cognitive assessment, development of student individual education plans, and consultation with educators and parents in preschool, and kindergarten to 12th grade settings. The school psychologist will provide leadership for response-to-intervention, and support school staff with social/emotional and behavior support for students.

Applicants are required to have, be in pursuit, or willing to enroll in a Master’s Degree or Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited university.

The salary for this position is competitive and is dependent upon education and experience.

The Northeast Colorado BOCES has an opening for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2018-2019 school year.

The position is Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. A bachelor’s degree in Communications or Speech is preferred. Applicants are preferred to meet eligibility requirements for a CDE Authorization as a School Speech/Language Pathology Assistant (0-21 years). The position will start in August 2018.
