Gifted and Talented Coordinator

Under the direction of the Special Projects Director of the NE BOCES or his/her designee, the NE BOCES Gifted and Talented Coordinator will work cooperatively with local member school district staff, parents and the community in order to serve the needs of the gifted students that are not addressed by other sources. Qualifications include possession of current Colorado Teaching License and possession of a Gifted and Talented Education Endorsement. This position is based on a 185 day (1.0 FTE) contract. School Psychologist

A Master’s or Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology is preferred. This position is based on a 185 day contract during the school year. Travel is required. Salary is competitive. Early Childhood Special Education Aide: Akron Headstart

Under the direction of the Special Education Director of the NE BOCES or his/her designee, the NE BOCES Early Childhood Special Education Aide will work cooperatively with the Akron School District and preschool to provide specialized support to preschool age students with disabilities. Supervision and training is provided by an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (ECSE). An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but not required. This position is as per the Akron Headstart calendar for 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, Monday thru Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Salary is dependent on education and experience. Please submit a letter of intent, resume and application to Northeast Colorado BOCES, Tamara Durbin, P.O.
