June 1, Tessa Heller, Northeast BOCES Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher, took 11 students on a memorable field trip to the Butterfly Pavilion. The students, ranging from preschool through high school, represented Northeast BOCES exceptionally well throughout the day.
This annual trip provides students with hearing loss the opportunity to meet, connect, and build relationships with peers from across our districts. It is a day filled with learning, exploration, smiles, and, most importantly, friendships.
A special thank you to Julesburg School District for providing transportation, especially driver Rhonda Palic, and to Deb Dickerson and Callie Mendez for generously volunteering their time to support our BOCES students. Their contributions helped make this experience possible and meaningful for all involved.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day such a success!
